Mymensingh Police Deployed for Safety and Traffic Congestion

The district police has made a comprehensive plan to ensure that people returning home from work can safely reach their destination in a peaceful environment on the coming holy Eid-ul-Azha.

 Policemen have been deployed at important points of Mymensingh city from today to ensure smooth return of the people to their homes and to ease traffic congestion.

 On Monday morning, District Police Superintendent Machum Ahmed Bhuna visited all the traffic jam areas including Patgudam Bridge, Shambhuganj Bazaar, Maskanda Bus Stand, Aqua Bypass, Trishal, Valuka.  At this time, he gave various instructions about the duties and responsibilities of the officers and forces deployed to decongest the highway.

 Mymensingh District Superintendent of Police Machum Ahmed Bhuna told reporters, like every year, special measures have been taken by the district police to resolve the traffic jam.  The district police will sincerely fulfill their duty so that there is no traffic jam on the highway, so that people can return home without any problems.  Necessary security has been ensured for cattle trucks and traders.  Parking of vehicles on the highway is prohibited, leaving vehicles at the entrance of the road and picking up passengers is prohibited.  They will be vigilant to ensure that no problem is created due to the negligence of the police or the administration.

 In this regard, Kotwali Model Police Station OC Shah Kamal Akand said, under the leadership of Mymensingh District Superintendent of Police Machum Ahmed Bhuna sir, the police is working with zero tolerance to stop any kind of extortion on the highway and to ease traffic congestion on the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.  At present, there is no extortion from the highway in the name of labor union.
